The males we choose to use and offer for stud service are overflowing with a variety of omnipotent genetics. As breeders who are always looking forward at the "big picture," we realize that our breeding decisions affect not only our personal herd but our national herd. Our common goal as breeders for a fledgling fiber industry compel us to pay meticulous attention to our breeding choices to ensure that we always choose breedings that will contribute to the improvement of our national herd. To this end, Bear Garden Farms only uses the very best males in our breeding program. If a male doesn't "wow" us right from the start with its conformation, fiber & phenotype, it is destined to become a non-breeder and is used, &/or sold, as a fiber producing, pet quality animal perfect for 4-H and FFA programs.
